Managing ADHD in teens and young adults

Please join guest speaker Matt Reid, ACC AACC on Wednesday, December 12th for an interactive one-hour presentation on managing ADHD in teens and young adults. Matt Reid is a certified ADHD coach, certified life coach, professional organizer, executive function tutor, speaker, and teacher. He also has ADHD himself. Matt will discuss many of the best ways to manage ADHD throughout life, and offer specific strategies that work for high school and college age kids. He will talk about the executive function difficulties that ADHD’ers battle and how to overcome many of them. He will also teach you how to help your teen create an ADHD friendly life.

Come early for the "High School Age" Parent Mingle from 6:30pm – 7:30pm. A light mini-sandwhich or salad dinner will be provided. The BSEAC (Belmont Special Education Advisory Council) hosts Parent Mingles before each of their Speaker Series to give Parents an opportunity to get to know each other. Parent Mingles will be one hour before each of the BSEAC speaker series. If you have a child receiving services and would like to get to know other parents of children receiving services, then this might be a great opportunity for you to get to know each other for support, shared information, and networking. December 20th Coffee/Tea: 10:30am at Vicki Lee's in Belmont
Would you like to get together with other parents who have children receiving services during the morning hours after the kids have been dropped off at school to have a cup of coffee/tea and support one another? If yes, then mark your calendar for a once a month (the 3rd Thursday of every month) Morning Coffee from 10:30am to 11:30am.
