The Chenery Student Directory is ready and has been distributed. If your child has not yet received one, please check in with the Lower School or Upper School Office for a copy.

Thank you to our many generous donors who made the creation of the Directory possible and thank you to Elena Hanley and Tim Flood for working tirelessly to pull the Directory together.

Student Council Events—Volunteers Needed

As we launch into 2018, we need volunteer help with upcoming Student Council events—especially the Talent Show, Wednesday January 17. Many volunteers are needed to sell refreshments during intermission. You will still be able to watch the show!

Keynote Speaker: State Rep. Byron Rushing
8:45 am to 11 am Belmont High School Cafeteria 221 Concord Avenue, Belmont

Elected in 1982, Rushing represents Boston's South End and serves as Majority Whip of the Massachusetts House of Representatives. He has a long career of support for social justice issues, including criminal justice reform, gay rights, health care equity and more. In the 1960's civil rights era, he was a member of the Congress of Racial Equality. He is a past President of the Museum of African American History in Boston.

Tickets $5/person $10/family at the door or purchase online.

  • There will be activities in the gym for children ages 5-10 years. Daycare provided for preschoolers.
  • Free parking. Wheelchair accessible.
  • Join us for thoughtful conversation, music, and more.

Proceeds of the event go to the METCO Fund which is used for late transportation for METCO high school students who participate in after school activities at Belmont High School, and is used across all the Belmont schools for programs that bring our Boston and Belmont students together.
