RESPECTFUL, RESPONSIBLE, READY TO LEARN;

EVERYBODY, EVERY DAY

WHAT THIS LOOKS LIKE IN PE CLASS:

Respectful:

- Good sportsmanship (Understanding winning and losing properly, cheering classmates on, and appropriate language between teammates and opponents)

- Kind interactions to classmates and teachers (NO swearing, no hurtful language, making EVERYONE feel and be included)

Responsible:

- Going to attendance spot

- Completing warm-ups

- Handling school equipment properly and returning it after being used

Ready to Learn:

- Prepared with proper clothing and footwear

- Following directions and rules (both classroom and locker room)

CONSEQUENCES FOR NOT FOLLOWING RULES:

Warning Examples:

- Inappropriate language (not directed at someone)- respect

- Running in the hallways- responsible

- Horseplay- responsible

- Falling to clean up equipment- respect

- Using Cell phones- ready to learn

- Talking when teacher is talking- respect

- Excessive tardiness to class- ready to learn

Detention Examples:

- Swearing at student- respect

- Damaging school property- respect

 

Sent to Office Examples:

- Swearing at teacher- respect

- Skipping class- ready to learn

- Fighting- responsible

- Destroying school property- respect

- Leaving the locker room before being dismissed- responsible
