I have enjoyed teaching Honors Biology
for five years at Belmont High School.
I also teach Anatomy and Physiology and Investigations in Integrated
Science. Before teaching at Belmont High School,
I received my undergraduate degree in Biology and Secondary Science Education
from Boston University and my Master’s degree in Biology from Northern
Arizona University. For my master’s
research and thesis, I examined sex differences in spatial memory ability of
Pinyon Jays . I enjoy bird watching, especially
observing birds of prey and wading birds.
Each year I like chaperoning the AP environmental science trip to
Florida because it gives me the opportunity to do a lot of bird watching. I have been married for six years. My husband is a photographer at Harvard
University. We have a wonderful pet
dog and a noisy but loving pet bird. |
