The Butler PTA now accepts contributions online!
Contributing to the Butler Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is one simple way that you can ensure a fun and educational experience for your child at Butler. Parent support is key to providing field trips and enrichment throughout the year. Last year, PTA funded the following events and more:
2 All School Assemblies: Crocodile River Music African Drumming, Ted Laurence from Slapstick Science
8 Field trips: Apple Picking at Carlson
9 In-school presentations: Insects Workshop, Weather Presentation, Meteorologist and Kite Workshop for 1st grade; Sled Dogs, Kenya and Soil Habitat for 2nd grade; Rocks and Minerals, and Sound Program for 4th grade.
For the 2016-2017 school years, the PTA annual budget is approximately $36,550. Based on 277 families at Butler this year, if every family gave $150, then our fundraising would be done for the year.
If you have contributed in the past but could raise the level of your donation this year, please consider it. If you have never contributed, we could really use your help to reach our goal.
The Butler PTA is a 501(c)3 non-profit group, and any donation is tax-deductible.
Need more incentive? Everyone who contributes by 6:30 pm at the Fall Picnic, on Monday, September 19, will be entered in a raffle for gifts from local merchants (Whole Foods Fresh Pond, Trader Joe's).
All you need to do is:
