The Burbank Parent Teacher Association
The Burbank PTA is comprised of parents, teachers, and Burbank’s school principal, all working together to enhance our children’s educational, social, and emotional development at Burbank.
The PTA hosts a wide range of activities throughout the school year including the Book Fair, the Fall Social, Reading Night, Field Day, STEM Week, Skating Night, the Multicultural Fair, the Geography Challenge, as well as many classroom enrichment programs in the school.
We invite new and returning Burbank families to attend our bi-monthly PTA meetings to learn more about the good works of the PTA and the educational and fun events that the PTA proudly sponsors. We encourage all families to contribute and get involved as together we foster a strong Burbank school community.

Burbank PTA Annual Appeal Drive
October 10th - December 8th
Many parent organizations rely on fundraising activities and product sales that are time consuming and ineffective. We raise most of our funds directly though an annual appeal, during which we invite every family to make a suggested donation of $125 per child. This donation provides your family with fun and enriching activities and significant educational opportunities, many of which will become cherished school time memories. Without the generosity of Burbank families, none of the PTA’s work would be possible. Since our funds are largely spent on academic enrichment and to support classrooms, every Burbank student directly benefits from this PTA fundraising. Every bit helps our school and community, so please join us and give what you can. The Burbank PTA is a 501(c)(3) organization and your donation is tax-deductible.https://my.cheddarup.com/c/mary-lee-burbank-pta-annual-appeal
Travel Safely To and From School
As a community we have a shared responsibility to keep students safe. Recent evaluation of Burbank’s routes to school shows the greatest danger to children is traffic congestion around the entrances to school. To help alleviate trouble spots, new parking and traffic regulations on Sharpe Rd have been put in place, effective September 2017. Please follow the procedures outlined here
to help all students get to and from school safely, and please share this important information with all caregivers.
