We Strive for Love of Learning, Respect and Well Being

Learn Think Create Serve

Dear Burbank Families,

We are very fortunate this morning to have several Belmont veterans join us for a Veteran’s Day Program in the cafeteria. The fourth grade students have been rehearsing and preparing with Ms. Hayashi and the fourth grade team for several weeks. A big “Thank You” to Kate Hayashi our wonderful music teacher and to the fourth grade teachers for all of their work with the students. Also, I want to thank the fourth graders for representing our school, carrying on such a great tradition at the Burbank School. I am always so impressed with the collaborative efforts that happen here at Burbank-we have wonderful teachers who take the time and effort to teach students songs, and we have students who are respectful, and really care about their country and world!

Have a great weekend-enjoy the colder weather, and time with family and friends!

Dr. Clifford

Lost & Found Reminder

Due to the large volume of items in the lost and found and the fact that we don’t have the space to accommodate all of these items, the lost and found box is emptied at the beginning of every month. Please make sure to check the lost and found as soon as you notice something is missing.

Attention Parents of 4th Grade Students

An updated physical exam is required by Massachusetts law for 4th grade students. Please send in to the clinic a copy of your child’s annual physical that has been completed within the past 12 months.

Please contact me with any questions.

Thank you,

Kindergarten Daisy Girl Scout Troop is Forming at Burbank

Please help the PTA meet its goal for the Annual Appeal. We have reached 84% of our goal, with contributions from 140 families and several teachers! Thank you to those who have already contributed! Donate online at, or by sending a check in your child’s school folder. Contribute what you are comfortable in giving, and if a guideline is needed, we suggest $125 PER CURRENT BURBANK CHILD. Also, check with your employer if they have a matching program for employee contributions. Past partnerships between the Burbank PTA and the Burbank school include teacher grants, SMART boards, grade-level enrichment activities, “Mathbrary” for Grade 2, Colonial Day for Grade 3, Kindergarten field trips, and many more.
