...Kudos to the administration and staff that have supported Fran as she prepared for Iditarod 2001. She'll be working harder over the next few weeks than any regular teaching job. I know I often had as little as 4 hours of sleep while on the trail! There are schools and interested fans all over the world who are following your dedicated teacher into the bush of Alaska.
