Bus schedule for Thursday, Oct. 19th
Due to the delayed opening on Thursday, Oct. 19th the buses will run on a delayed schedule. The will begin the routes at 9:45am so that the students will arrive on time for the 10:30am start.

The hours that school is open for students on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017 the school hours are 10:30 am until 2:25 pm. Students can pick up the days schedule outside of the mail office on Wednesday.

Students who have not picked up pictures should do so between 10 am and 1pm
SERVICE HOURS DEADLINE
In order to be reflected on the November report card, community service forms are due to Ms. Melnikoff by Friday, October 27. Forms that are turned in after that date will be on the January report card. You never lose the hours as long as you can document them. Note: Please be sure that you have written the reflective journal and included the necessary signatures.
COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES
Today, Tuesday, October 17, 3:15-5:15: Help at the girls pinkout soccer game against Lexington, by giving out breast cancer information to attendees. See Ms. Melnikoff
Tomorrow, Wednesday, October 18, 6-8:30 PM. Conference Night. Direct parents to their appointments with teachers. See Ms. Femino in the office.

The Belmontian Community Service Club will meet tonight,Tuesday, October 17, at 7:30 in Room 138.
The following students should pick up their Pinkapalooza door prizes from Ms. Melnikoff in Social Studies: Phoebe Derba, Daliah Gurin, Ben Kargere, Ryan Noone, Xander Phillips, and Anjali Ramakrishnan, Remember, you must be wearing pink to receive your prize.
CHIPOTLE PROMOTION FOR BREAST CANCER
Today, Tuesday, October 17, stop by Chipotle Fresh Pond from 5-9PM, and buy a snack or dinner. Be sure to mention the breast cancer promotion for Belmont High School. They will donate 50% of your payment to our Making Strides Against Breast Cancer team. Eat well, do good!
ATHLETIC EVENTS PARKING
In preparation for the 2017 BHS Fall Athletic Season, all fans are reminded that during athletic event at Harris Field parking is restricted to one side of the street on Myrtle, Goden and Oak Streets. Please do you part by parking on the designated side of the street. Thanks for your cooperation and continued support of Belmont High Athletics.

Students are reminded that all vehicles parked in the school parking lot are required to have a parking permit. Parking permits are issued through the main office. In addition, students may only park in the designated student parking area marked by the white lines. Students may not park in the teacher lot marked by the yellow lines. Students parking in the teacher lot will be subject to consequences.
SENIOR OPEN CAMPUS AND PARKING PERMIT APPLICATIONS
Senior open campus and parking permit application are available for eligible students. Stop by the main office between the hours of 10 am and 1 pm for application(s).
LOST & FOUND
All items in Lost & Found will be donated to charity at the end of each quarter. If you think you have lost something check the Lost & Found.
Students and Staff should be reminded to LOCK their bikes on the bike racks. We have observed numerous bikes not locked.
There have been many reports of student cutting thru resident’s back yards and crossing the railroad tracks to get to the High School. This is considered trespassing and the Belmont Police and MBTA police will be patrolling the area and if caught trespassing laws may be enforced.
Crossing the Commuter Rail tracks is not only highly dangerous but is also considered trespassing. Trespassers are subject to substantial fines and arrest by MBTA Police and Belmont Police.
New to the school in common areas are recycling barrels for beverages. Screw all caps back on before recycling. Blue bins are for paper and Green bins are for plastic, aluminum or glass.
Students are encouraged to lock the lock on their lockers. If you are having trouble with your lock/locker please see Mrs. Ouellette in the main office.
