Winter Tryouts

Proof of Physical Required Prior to Sign Up (All Sports)

The physical exam must be current and per Mass. State Department of Public Health regulations, Physical Exams are only good for 13 months from the date of the exam. If the 13 month period expires during the sports season, the student must deliver a new physical exam before the expiration date. No special form required. Physical Forms can be mailed or Faxed to the Belmont High Health Clinic 617-993-5498 or brought directly to the BHS Health Clinic and given to the Nurse. Forms received after 12 noon will be processed the next day.

2017 Belmont High Winter Sports Sign Ups took place on Thursday, November 3th @ 2:30 p.m.  in the following locations: 

  • Girls’ Basketball - BHS Little Theater
  • Boys’ Basketball - BHS Room 113
  • Girls’ Ice Hockey - BHS (Rm 221 A)
  • Boys’ Ice Hockey - BHS (MOD 2)
  • Girls’& Boys’ Indoor Track - BHS (Café)
  • Wrestling - BHS (Upper Gym)
  • Boys’ Swim - BHS (Wenner Field House)
  • Alpine Ski - BHS (MOD 3)

A Chance to ask questions about Try Outs and the Season!

For ALL players

  • Athletic participation fee must be paid in order to try out, fee is due:
    • For Fall Sports by August 15th,
    • For Winter Sports by November 15,
    • For Spring Sports by February 15.
    • Pay online here.
  • All candidates must have on file in the BHS Athletic office for the current 2016-17 school year a parent permission form, MIAA Chemical Health form, BHS concussion education form and seasonal concussion history form.
  • All candidates must have on file in the BHS Nurses office proof of a current physical. Per the State Department of Public Health regulations, Physical Exams are NOW ONLY GOOD for 13 months from the date of the exam, NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • Depending on the number of candidates cuts may be made.
