Dan Richards

Principal Daniel Richards, a NASSP/ Virco National Assistant Principal of the Year finalist, and Massachusetts Assistant Principal of the Year, has been a teacher in the Newton Public School District (Newton, MA), and was an assistant principal and currently the principal of Belmont High School in the Belmont Public School District (Belmont, MA). As a school leader, he has successfully created and implemented professional development focused around 21st century learning and coordinated school and district-wide programs which recognize and celebrates the diversity of all faculty, staff and students.

Announcements January 13, 2017

The Sophomore Parent Coffee and Conversation has been switched from 1/11/2017 to the new date of Wednesday 1/18/2017. Place: BHS Auditorium Time: 8:00-9:00AM Come meet the BHS Guidance staff and have a cup of coffee. We will be talking about SAT/ACT testing timelines, the upcoming course selection process , Naviance and other relevant topics to sophomore year. It will be a panel discussion format with plenty of time Q & A’s. Look forward to seeing you on the morning of the 18th.BHS Guidance Staff Lost or Stolen Items - A reminder to students please do not leave your belongings unattended anywhere is the building. Locking Bikes - Students and Staff should be reminded to LOCK their bikes on the bike racks. We have observed numerous bikes not locked. Lost & Found - All items in Lost & Found will be donated to charity a the end of each quarter. If you think you have lost something check the Lost & Found before January 20.
