Belmont High School Students Wear Pajamas for Donations

Staff and teachers joined the students in their PJs on February 13 in exchange for a donation of new pajamas in sizes newborn to 18 or a monetary donation for Cradles to Crayons, a non-profit organization located in Brighton and Philadelphia.

Dan Richards

Principal Daniel Richards, a NASSP/ Virco National Assistant Principal of the Year finalist, and Massachusetts Assistant Principal of the Year, has been a teacher in the Newton Public School District (Newton, MA), and was an assistant principal and currently the principal of Belmont High School in the Belmont Public School District (Belmont, MA). As a school leader, he has successfully created and implemented professional development focused around 21st century learning and coordinated school and district-wide programs which recognize and celebrates the diversity of all faculty, staff and students.

Announcements - April 1, 2015

Attention musicians Auditions for the 2015-16 Wind Ensemble will take place after April 7-9. Please see Mr. Ketchen or Mr. Asadoorian for audition materials, and sign up for an audition time on the bulletin board in the music wing. Seniors, We are looking for pictures of you over the past 4-6 years, playing sports or instruments, in plays or concerts, on a schools trip, going to the Prom, or just goofing off.These pictures are to be used in a video that will be shown throughout the night of the All Night Party. Email images to belmontseniornight2015@sendtodropbox.com (please send no more then 10 images per person) or drop them in the All Night Party box in the BHS Main Office. Belmont High School and the Belmont Police Department have come together for an event on April 1, 2015. An Impaired Driver Simulator Event will be taking place in the BHS parking lot. Students are encouraged to attend, and take part in driving the go-kart. Students must have a driver's license or permit. The Massachusetts State Police will be providing us with the equipment, and we are all looking forward to working together for this fun and informative event.
