Ongoing Fundraising:

Dear BHS Families:

We hope you have all settled in well to the school year. The PTSO sent out its annual fundraising letter in October. If you donated at that time, we thank you so much.

In case you have not gotten around to it, please see the convenient link to the Paypal below, or for more details, please see our fundraising letter here. In addition, if you use Amazon, please consider signing up on AmazonSmile in the upcoming shopping season to direct a percentage of sales for donation (link below).

We have raised annually some $30,000 to help the high school pay for everything from textbooks and equipment to hall benches, the library renovation, the All Night Party, scholarships, and student grants to benefit the school community. New this year we are asking for a $35 membership ($5 students) to grow a sense of involvement in the school community. So far we have had 206 families respond out of approximately 1060. With your participation, we can meet our increased target of $50,000!

2/15 Speaker Series: Steps to Staying Organized by Signet Education

Learn about steps to staying organized. Discover several tools and strategies students can use right away to help promote the development of organizational skills. Gain a clearer picture of how to help your children achieve success and become more independent learners. We will discuss study habits and time management skills that students will carry with them into college and future careers. It is important to try to make sure that the habits students are forming now are productive, efficient, and personalized. However, while each student may have a different learning style, there are study skills that are essential to every student's success.
