Dan Richards

Principal Daniel Richards, a NASSP/ Virco National Assistant Principal of the Year finalist, and Massachusetts Assistant Principal of the Year, has been a teacher in the Newton Public School District (Newton, MA), and was an assistant principal and currently the principal of Belmont High School in the Belmont Public School District (Belmont, MA). As a school leader, he has successfully created and implemented professional development focused around 21st century learning and coordinated school and district-wide programs which recognize and celebrates the diversity of all faculty, staff and students.

Announcements - May 25, 2016

MCAS Science 9th grade students will be taking Science MCAS on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 1 and 2. All 9th grade student should report to school at 7;35 and check the Bulletin outside of the Main office for your room assignments. Student Government Nomination forms for Student Government elections are available in the main office and are due back by Thursday, May 26th at 2:30. The following positions are open: -Class Officers for upcoming Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors -5 Student Senators from each grade who address student concerns and advise the administration on student matters, -5 Student Advisors to the School Committee, advises the School Committee on student matters, and -2 representatives for the Greater Boston Regional Student Advisory Council - a group of students who work with other students in the Boston area on a variety of projects dealing with issues such as environmentalism in schools, curriculum frameworks, MCAS testing and frameworks, and teacher evaluations. This group meets monthly in Malden during the school day. If you have any questions, please see Ms. McDevitt in the social studies department. Graduating Seniors - Graduating Seniors can start to return their iPads along with the charger sets starting Monday May 16th in the Technology Office. The final day for iPad return is Wednesday May 25th. Any questions please see Ms. Femino in the Tech office.
