Completed paperwork must be submitted in-person to the Human Resources Department, along with a valid photo ID and proof of authorization to work in the US (See I-9 form instructions for allowable forms of identification). The Human Resources Department is located in the School Administration at 644 Pleasant Street, Belmont.
A background check must be completed prior to starting work in the District. If you have completed a fingerprint-based background check as a condition of employment in a Massachusetts school district in the past year, you may request that district to send a letter of suitability for employment to BPS Human Resources.
Belmont Public School District and the state of Massachusetts require annual training on a variety of topics. Completion of this training each year is a condition of employment for all district employees. Follow instructions on the Required Training page to complete all training within 30 days of your date of hire.
