Department of Public Works Open House

The Belmont Department of Public Works is celebrating National Public Works Week by inviting the public to an open house at the DPW yard at the end of C Street on Saturday, May 3rd from 10:00am to 2:00 PM (rain date Saturday, May 10th same time).

Open Enrollment Period and Benefits Fair

The Town's annual open enrollment period for health and dental insurance will take place from Monday, May 5th through Friday, May 16th. This will be the only open enrollment period that allows you to join or make changes to insurance plans without a qualifying event until next May.

BHS Student has Qualified to Participate in US Mathematical Olympiad

Joseph Chen, Belmont High School, grade 10 student has qualified to participate in the United States of America Junior Mathematical Olympiad based on his performance on two previous Math exams. Only about 230 students nationwide are chosen to participate at this level.

New Social Dance Classes for Middle Schoolers

The Belmont Woman’s Club announces that it will present a new series of social dance classes for fifth and sixth grade boys and girls beginning in the fall. A series of eight one-hour classes that will run after school on Thursdays from late September to early November. There will be two class-time options, 4:00-5:00 p.m. and 5:15-6:15 p.m.
