Belmont After School Enrichment Collaborative and Belmont Savings Bank Foundation presents parent series lectures:  Got Conflict? What's a Parent to Say or Do: Tools for the Parent Toolbox. Part I: Focus on pre-adolescent and teens.  When: Monday, February 9th from 6:30pm - 8:30 pm  Where: Chenery Middle School Auditorium  Guest Speaker: Community Dispute Settlement Center  Do you find yourself struggling with the best ways to handle those difficult situations at home… especially with your children? Conflict is normal and we can all learn new and supportive ways to handle the tricky situations that come about in our relationships.  Join CDSC in the journey to better family communication. Come to these interactive workshops facilitated by two experienced professionals; a therapist who will provide info about positive child development and a mediator who will identify strategies for de-escalating family conflict situations.  Two training workshops:  I: Focus on Teens February 9th from 6:30pm - 8:30 pm  II: Focus on Siblings March 30, 2015 6:30pm - 8:30pm  This is a free event.
