This is a great opportunity for anyone in the Belmont Community to come and ask about any of the services that are under the umbrella of Student Services in Belmont. For example, did you know that Student Services does not just cover Special Education services? They take care of Health and Medical issues and Nursing. The Early Education Preschool Program in Belmont is under this umbrella as well as the LABBB Collaborative (Lexington, Arlington, Belmont, Bedford & Burlington). The LABBB Collaborative provides quality specialized services to children in all the towns mentioned above while maximizing the economies of scale of all of these towns. Steve Mazzola, Director of Technology will be here to answer any questions you might have regarding different technologies available for those receiving services. Superintendent Phelan and a school committee member will be on the panel too to answer any budget question or any curriculum related question. This has been a very informative presentation for parents who might be feeling frustrated about “how it all works.” This is one of the reasons this presentation repeats each year.
