DESCRIPTION:  Belmont High School Performing Arts Company Presents  URINETOWN THE MUSICAL  Music & Lyrics by Mark Hollmann  Book and Lyrics by Greg Kotis  April 7 & 8 at 7pm  April 9 at 1:30pm & 7pm  Belmont High School Auditorium  TICKETS  Students:   $10 / Adults: $15 in advance, $18 at the door  HOW TO GET A TICKET:        Go online to bhs-pac.org .      OR Find the students selling tickets outside the cafe during most lunch mods.    ABOUT THE SHOW:        There’s not as much pee-themed-humor as the title suggests, in case you’re squeamish.      It’s good!  The show won Tony awards in 2001 for the music, writing and directing. The students are doing a great job with with the show, as well as the technical elements.  If you’ve enjoyed a BHS show in the past, you’re in for more of the same.  If you haven’t yet made it to a musical here, now is your chance!      It is pretty family friendly.  The show is a comedy, so while the plot has some darker elements, any kids over age 7 or 8 will enjoy the singing, dancing and romance; the irony and darker elements of the plot will go right over their heads.
