About Student Services Department

The Department of Student Services encompasses guidance, and special education services - preschool through high school.

Services are available for students who qualify with an identified disability requiring specially designed instruction. Eligible students pursue a program modified according to an Individualized Education Program (IEP). This Program is developed following a review of assessment information during the TEAM meeting process.

The LABBB (Lexington, Arlington, Burlington, Bedford, and Belmont) Collaborative provides a variety of comprehensive, specialized programs to serve special needs students in school settings.

Learning Center Support
The Learning Center provides tutorial instruction and academic support for students in accordance with their IEP. Students receive academic credit for their work in the Learning Center calculated according to the amount of time they spend working there.
 
Counseling Services
Individual student counseling services are available with a variety of mental health professionals. A school adjustment counselor and consulting psychologist meet with students and consult with parents and staff.
