A student graduating from Belmont High School will
enter a world of options other than a four-year
college or university. The purpose of this site
is to provide information on those options so as
to enhance the student's ownership of his/her future.
Please use the information provided as a starting
point in thinking through your own career, and in
discussing your thoughts with parents, peers, guidance
counselors and other friends and supporters. The
Career Resource Center, residing in the Belmont
High School Guidance Office, is an additional resource
to assist you in investigating these options.
If you are interested in deferring college for
a semester or a year, then you can find a number
of interesting options by going to the
Transition site. Opportunities range from
domestic to international, from paying to being
paid, for yourself or for mankind, etc.
If you are interested in entering the work force
now, then check out the
Career site. Information provided may help
in finding a job or in launching a career, as
well as in preparing for the job search.
If you are interested in further education focused
on a career, then go to the
