Freshmen Field Hockey

Meet on the field hockey field (next to the field house) at 10:00 on Wednesday August 31st. All players will need a stick, shin guards, goggles and a mouth guard. Both sneakers and cleats would also be beneficial.

• Wednesday August 31st, 2:00 - 4:00 PM
• Thursday September 1, NO practice
• Friday September 2, 9:00 - 11:00 AM
• Tuesday September 6, 1:30 - 4:00 PM
• Wednesday September 7, Ready to play 2:45 PM

Varsity & JV

Thursday, August 25th is the first day of tryouts.

Meet on the field hockey field (next to the field house) at 9:00. All players will need a stick, shin guards, goggles and a mouth guard.

• Practice on Thursday the 25th and Friday the 26th will be from 9am - 11 and 1:30pm to 3.
• Practice on Saturday the 27th will be from 8am - 10.
• Practice on Monday the 29th and Tuesday the 30th will be from 9am - 11 and 1:30pm to 3. (Decisions about team placement will be made after this practice)
• Practice will be from 9am - 11 on Wednesday August 31, Thursday Sept 1, and Friday Sept 2.
• Practice will be from 3am - 5 starting on Tuesday Sept 6th.

For ALL players

• Athletic participation fee must be paid in order to try out, fee is due by August 1st. Application is available here.
• All candidates must have on file in the BHS Athletic office for the current 2011-12 school year a parent permission form, MIAA Chemical Health form and BHS concussion education form
• All candidates must have on file in the BHS Nurses office proof of a current physical within the last 13 months in order to try out.
• Depending on the number of candidates cuts may be made.
