| Saturday Morning Music
School is a unique opportunity for the Belmont community.
This program is supplemental to our in-school elementary instrumental
program. For young students, it's the best place to learn to play
an instrument in a group setting. For older students, it's a great
place to share your talents with the younger ones. For parents,
you get to watch your children grow musically and socially.
We have over 300 students joining us on Saturday mornings at the
Chenery Middle School for music making in grades 3 - 5 as members
of either the All-Town Beginning Orchestra, the All-Town Beginning
Band, the All-Town Advanced Orchestra, or the All-Town Advanced
Band. Each student receives an hour of like instrument instruction
(only flutes or only violas, etc.) as well as an hour of ensemble
rehearsal. These are the performing groups for the elementary level
that play on the All-Town Concerts and at the Elementary Music Festival
in April.
