Music is required for all students in grades K-4. Students in grade K-1 receive a minimum of 30 minutes of instruction per week. Students in grades 2-4 receive a minimum of 60 minutes per week. String instrument instruction is elective for students in grades 3-4. Wind instrument instruction is offered beginning in grade 4. Students electing to enroll in elementary instrumental music receive one 45 minute group lesson per week.
